ARBS HVAC Product Excellence Award 2010
Nominations are invited for new technologies or re-application of existing technologies that demonstrate innovation and fitness for purpose. Evidence of commercial success and performance from end users/consumers would be highly regarded.
Application evaluation will consider design, innovation, efficiency, inventive step, long felt need and potential commercial success.
Entry Criteria:
• Product must have been released to the Australian market within the last 3 years and be operational in the industry
• Product can be fully operational, a component part, mechanical aid, diagnostic tool, computer software, controls or service related tools etc.
Other information required:
• Full name, address and contact details of nominee
• Evidence of when the product was released in the Australian market
• Include contact details of end users/testimonials
• Include permission from the product owners to enter into the competition
• In one typed page provide an executive summary of what makes your product outstanding and why, including the impact in the HVAC industry
• Describe the product and its use and purpose, any special design or operating features (technology, innovation, efficiencies)
• Include the driving force behind product development, what needs were recognised and how were they met? (innovation, resources, collaboration)
• List environmental and operational efficiencies recorded
• Provide evidentiary information of performance (preferably by end users)
• Provide details of how the results demonstrated by the product have been measured to verify the claimed performance (include appropriate standards where possible)
• How have challenges with the product been overcome?
• Describe the actual or potential commercial success of this product
• What are the advantages of the product and why you think it deserves to be considered for this award (include impact on the HVAC industry)
