ARBS Young Achiever Award for 2010

Nominations are invited from all A/C & Refrigeration companies, individuals or educational establishments.  Nominees must be able to demonstrate outstanding achievements in the industry with a focus on leadership and professional commitment.  A record of personal achievements such as community service and other personal contributions will also be taken into consideration.

Application evaluation will consider presentation, clarity of goals and plans, referee endorsements and achievements

Entry Criteria:

 • Age 25-35  
 • Currently employed in the HVAC & R industry
• Australian resident
• Application must be supported by at least 2 endorsements (eg one employer, who they have worked for at least 6 months and one independent endorsement)
• Judges will contact referees
• Finalists will be required to undergo a personal interview

Other information required:

• Full name, address, contact details and date of birth of nominee
• Employer and independent endorsees name and contact details
• Commencement date with current employer
• Details and copies of industry training/apprenticeships, qualifications and any previous employment
• Details of industry participation i.e. membership
• Details of extra-curricular activities and achievements, i.e. community based
• In one typed page outline professional goals you have achieved, the goals you hope to achieve over the next 2-5 years and how you plan to achieve them
• What are the advantages of working within the industry and define what future contributions you can make
• Describe an incident where you have shown initiative and commitment in your work environment
