
ARBS Outstanding Industry Education/Training Award 2010
This award recognises an outstanding contribution to training or education within the HVAC & R industry over a number of years. Entries need to provide details of the course development and design, whether theoretical or practical, and provide evidence of the implementation and long term effect (eg productivity improvements, increase in profits etc) of the training.
Application evaluation will consider leadership in the delivery and commitment to training, impact of the program within industry, innovation, breadth and reach of the training program.
Entry Criteria:
• Open to individuals, institutions or companies - includes undergraduate and postgraduate training, technical or managerial
• Provider can self nominate or be nominated
• Training must be delivered in Australia
Other information required:
• Full name, address and contact details of nominee
• In one typed page provide an executive summary of what makes your training program stand out and why, including its significance to the HVAC & R industry.
• What was the driving force behind your contribution to training? (investment, objectives)
• Describe your training program, including numbers undertaken, and how it is delivered ((the process, resources, collaboration)
• What are the benefits?
• How does it solve a problem, overcome a challenge? (innovation)
• What is the impact on industry, regulation or the community?
• Attach supporting materials to demonstrate outcomes
