IB03: Integrated Communications Networks
Scott Penno, Regional Marketing Manager – APAC, Allied Telesis
Traditionally buildings have been designed with separate communication networks for each building service creating silos of disparate data with the systems providers being responsible for their individual silo. Over the last 5 years there has been an increasing demand for buildings to have an integrated communications network (ICN) to converge both systems and data onto a common infrastructure. This session provides insights into the advantages and challenges, what it takes to make a building ‘Smart’ along with what the future looks like for commercial building developments.
Tuesday 8th May 2018 – 16:00 – 17:00
