As we look ahead to ARBS 2020 we take a moment reflect on the successful return to Sydney that broke all previous records for attendance.

ARBS 2018 in Sydney recorded:

  • 3427 visitors on Tuesday, 8 May
  • 3965 visitors on Wednesday, 9 May
  • 2362 visitors on Thursday, 10 May

A grand total of 9,754 visitors yielded an overall increase of ten percent compared to ARBS 2016.

The highly anticipated Speaker Series saw panels and guest presenters deliver a staggering 34 sessions covering topics from Net-Zero Buildings to MEPS for Fans and Big Data. Attendance was impressive with many sessions at full capacity.

Visitors explored IBTech@ARBS, a new precinct for the 2018 exhibition which returns in 2020. Dedicated to intelligent buildings technology and solutions it was a hive of activity with exhibitors presenting product and technology information, updates and demonstrations.

The ARBS 2018 Industry Awards, honouring those who achieved greatness in the industry, was very well received with tickets for the gala dinner in high demand.

In 2020, ARBS returns to Melbourne and promises an even greater lineup of speakers, demonstrations and networking opportunities.
