ARBS announces Amanda Searle as the new CEO, effective from 30th October 2023. With over 25 years in marketing, communications, and events, including a significant tenure at AMCA Australia, Amanda is set to lead ARBS into its next phase.
On her appointment, Amanda shared, “Taking the lead at ARBS is both an honour and responsibility. I’m looking forward to contributing to ARBS’s growth, highlighting industry innovations both locally and globally.”
ARBS Chairman, Prof. Tony Arnel, said, “Amanda brings a wealth of expertise that aligns seamlessly with our vision. Her leadership qualities and forward-thinking approach promise an exciting and progressive future for ARBS.”
As Sue Falcke steps down, we honour her remarkable 23-year tenure as the CEO that shaped ARBS into the industry giant it is today. Sue’s accomplishments range from exponentially increasing attendee figures to launching flagship initiatives including the ARBS Industry Awards and ARBS Seminar Program. Her profound impact can be witnessed throughout the dynamic event. “The entire ARBS board extends its deepest gratitude for Sue’s enduring commitment,” added Prof. Arnel.
Sue’s association with ARBS began in 2000, just two years after its inaugural show in 1998. Reflecting on her tenure, Sue shared, “ARBS has been an incredible journey. I’ve poured my heart and soul into it and am immensely proud of what it has become. The most rewarding part of this journey is the people, I have met so many great friends and supporters over the years who have helped to guide and shape the show.”
As Sue embarks on this new phase, she looks forward to a well-deserved holiday, a period to recharge and reflect on her transformative journey with ARBS. She leaves with the hope of a bright future for ARBS and its continued success under Amanda’s guidance.
