ARBSQLD has wrapped up its successful inaugural exhibition, held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 27–28 August 2025. The event drew more than 2,000 attendees and featured 120 exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in air conditioning, refrigeration, heating and building services.

Bringing the best of ARBS to Brisbane

Across two days we welcomed over 2,000 visitors and 120 exhibitors to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, an achievement made possible by the commitment of our team, industry associations, exhibitors and sponsors. Beyond the exhibition floor, the event showcased the strength of our community. The Tech Talks drew standing-room-only crowds, while the Women in HVAC&R networking program brought together over 50 professionals to focus on inclusion and the future of our workforce. This highlights ARBS’ role as a platform for industry-wide collaboration. The feedback from exhibitors and visitors has been invaluable.

Knowledge sharing across the industry

The ARBSQLD Tech Talks program saw strong attendance across two days with 20 sessions delving into the latest developments in HVAC&R and building services. Industry leaders and technical experts shared insights on topics such as indoor air quality, fire safety systems, energy performance, seismic resilience and digital innovation, offering visitors practical solutions and forward-looking perspectives.

Women in HVAC&R

Networking event for those that champion diversity 

The Women in HVAC&R networking event emerged as a highlight of ARBSQLD, attracting a large and diverse audience keen to connect, share experiences, and explore strategies for greater inclusion within the sector. Hosted alongside the Tech Talks program, the session featured insights from Empowered Women in Trades.

Discussions focused on career pathways, mentorship opportunities, and the need for visible role models to inspire more women to pursue technical and leadership roles within the HVAC&R and building services industries. The strong engagement and positive feedback underscored a growing momentum to create a more balanced, inclusive and future-ready workforce.
