February Outlook by Ian Hopkins, ARBS Chairman

February 11, 2020 BY ARBS

The HVAC&R and building services industry is undergoing a transformation where  we are seeing an increased demand for technologies that support higher efficiency equipment and lower GWP refrigerants coupled with a shift toward products that enhance the customer experience.

Under the current economic uncertainty, and the growing impact of climate regulations and goals, I believe two of the most important trends that will shape the year ahead will include the continued growth for smarter, energy-efficient equipment, and enhanced refrigerant options.

The industry continues to adapt with ever-evolving efficiency initiatives and staying updated with these initiatives and innovations is essential. That’s why it remains vital to share and discuss these topics as a collective – and there is no better forum than the ARBS Speaker Series to do that.

Having been privy to some of scheduled topics, we are in for a super informative series with some of our industry’s top names presenting on the most pressing issues facing HVAC&R and building services. With parts of the line-up already announced, and the full program scheduled for release soon, I am excited to see this event unfold in Melbourne in May.
