Alex Fuerschke, Head of Building Technology, Dexus
Alex Fuerschke is responsible for developing a smart building strategy and framework to execute across one of Australia’s largest property portfolios.

Alex has held several roles in Information Technology, with over 20 years’ experience gained in organisations including Dexus, Deutsche Bank and UNSW. Prior to his current role, he led the application and software development team at Dexus.

Educated in architecture, and with 15 years working in the property industry, Alex has been able to blend his passions for technology and the built environment to deliver people centric solutions.

 

 



Louise Monger, Program Manager, Technology & Innovation, Real Estate, AMP Capital

As the Program Manager, Technology & Innovation, Real Estate, Louise is accountable for AMP Capital’s real estate strategic technology roadmap, ensuring delivery of client and business value from technology investment and leading real estate’s digital and innovation team.

Prior to this, Louise was the Head of Property Management, Office & Logistics, accountable for the overall property management performance of the AMP Capital Office & Logistics portfolio, leading, inspiring and motivating a team of property professional across the disciplines of property management, operations, customer experience, projects, building technology and flexible workspaces.

Louise joined AMP Capital in 2011, bringing over 10 years’ experience in technical and management positions to the role, including working as an electrician in the mining industry. It is this diverse experience that underpins her passion for the role technology and innovation play in redefining real estate experiences.

Louise is an active contributor in the property industry. She is a current member of the Property Council of Australia NSW Diversity Committee and was previously a member of the Steering Committee for the Cleaning Accountability Framework and Chair of the Property Council of Australia Asset Management Committee.

Louise holds a Masters of Facilities Management and remains a qualified electrician.

 


Paul Bailey, General Manager, Property Technology, Lendlease Digital

Paul is General Manager, Property Technology at Lendlease Digital, where he leads an industry-first Property Technology (PropTech) & Smart Buildings advisory division. He is dedicated to helping Lendlease embrace digital technology and innovation to remain at the forefront of place creation in today’s experience-led, data driven and digital first world.

Paul has earned a reputation as one of the leading experts in PropTech. He leverages over 12 years’ experience working across the real estate lifecycle to lead all advisory services in relation to customer experience, digital technology and data within the built world. At Lendlease, he has played a pivotal role in securing and executing some of the industry’s most exciting projects, including the integrated technology strategies for five multibillion-dollar global urban renewal projects, across digital infrastructure, IoT, operational systems, customer experience platforms and advanced analytics.

Paul is a member of the Australian Smart Cities Council and an active influencer in the PropTech space, contributing to global platforms including Unissu. He is passionate in his belief that the real estate industry must now leverage digital technology and data to ‘create the best places for people’ which undoubtably will lead to better social, environmental and economic outcomes.

 


Nathan Lyon, Head of Building Technology, Investa

Nathan Lyon is the Head of Building Technology for Investa, Australia’s largest commercial office specialists who develop and manage over 8bn of commercial office assets.

With over 15 years’ experience in the in the commercial real estate industry across both operations and development, Nathan brings these phases together to provide an experienced perspective on the inherent challenges that organisations may face when technology adoption is married against existing practices.

Nathan is passionate about creating intelligent, adaptable property assets and is responsible for the development and recommendation of technology strategies as they relate to new and existing assets, and supports the delivery and implementation of solutions which promise to enhance the experience of building occupants, and increase the performance and flexibility of the built environment.
